On 10 April 2025, Mono GPS Co., Ltd. hosted its Annual Merit-Making Ceremony in a warm, joy-filled atmosphere. The event celebrated the beauty of Thai culture while giving employees a chance to join in a meaningful activity that brings blessings to their lives, careers, and the organisation as a whole—all in honour of the Thai New Year.

 

The event was designed to preserve and showcase our pride in Thailand’s rich cultural traditions while strengthening the bonds between employees and management. It provided a welcoming space for colleagues to meet, converse, and cultivate a spirit of unity throughout the organisation, infusing everyone with positive energy as we enter the Thai New Year with fresh enthusiasm and a shared commitment to driving the company forward with stability and sustainable growth.

 

 

Morning Alms Offering — Welcoming Blessings for the Thai New Year

At 10:30 AM, all employees dressed in polite attire, with many wearing colorful floral patterns, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with smiles and the joyful spirit of the festival. Everyone gathered in front of the company premises to participate in the traditional Buddhist merit-making ceremony by offering alms to nine monks. This annual tradition is organized by the company to bring blessings, prosperity, and good fortune to all employees throughout the year.

 

During the ceremony, the atmosphere was filled with tranquility as the monks’ chanting created a sense of joy and spiritual devotion among all participants. Both the management team and employees joined the ceremony in unity, reflecting their shared intention to begin the Thai New Year with pure hearts and goodwill toward one another. After the ceremony, employees made personal wishes and prayers for success and prosperity in both their personal lives and careers. The monks also bestowed blessings upon everyone, providing encouragement and positive energy to confidently move forward in the year 2025.

 

Buddha Bathing & Rod Nam Dam Hua Ceremony for the Executive Team

This meaningful rite, rich in reverence and auspicious intent, saw employees gently bathing the Buddha image and offering heartfelt prayers for prosperity, peace, and progress in both their personal and professional lives—while renewing their own spirit and that of the company. The ceremony also underscored our genuine respect for Buddhism and our commitment to preserving Thailand’s treasured cultural heritage.

 

The event continued with the traditional water-pouring ceremony, where employees respectfully poured water over the hands of the management team to express their appreciation and seek blessings from the leaders they admire and respect at MonoGPS. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, friendliness, and joyful smiles and laughter. The heartfelt words of encouragement and blessings from the management inspired and uplifted everyone, serving as motivation for both work and personal life throughout the year.

 

 

After the religious and traditional ceremonies concluded, employees added color and excitement to the event by enjoying a Songkran water celebration within the company. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and playful moments, offering a refreshing break from daily work routines and creating memorable experiences during this special festival.
